About your team

Hong Kong and China Offshore Intermediary Business is responsible for business development of retail distribution channels in both HK and China. Main responsibility is to promote FIL solutions, including active funds, ETFs and other investment products across multiple channels such as retail banks, insurance companies, fund platforms, local securities house and virtual platforms. Being a part of the sales team, Sales Support member is responsible for providing overall sales support for the Intermediary Business in Hong Kong and China offshore clients.

About your role

This role is a sales support function within the Hong Kong Wholesale and China Offshore Business. Reporting to Head of Hong Kong and China Offshore Intermediary Business supporting the day-to-day client enquiries and representing the team in various projects. From career development perspective, our sales support manager may choose to remain their sales support role or may choose to grow and develop his / her career as Sales Manager over time.

About you

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the sales material including sales deck, fund perspective, performance update, placemat and competitor analysis, etc.
  • Manage the client due diligence questionnaire and onboarding questionnaire.
  • Represent the sales team in various projects including CRM, compliance clearance, corporate action, client communication, and other projects lead by technology team.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure we provide timely and accurate response to client.
  • Host client meetings on behalf of sales team.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in asset management industry is a plus.
  • Solid business communication skills in English and Chinese. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with all levels of the organization and client organizations.
  • Proven ability to support team member to meet client expectations.
  • PC literacy - Excel (Vlookup / Pivot etc), Word, PowerPoint
  • Relevant knowledge of the rules and regulations governing asset management
  • The ability to accurately grasp the needs of others and communicate them logically and concisely.
  • The ability to imagine the purpose beyond the given task and return work with added value.
