Job Description

Assist the Chief Mechanical Engineer / Senior Project Engineer in the preparation and execution of projects / works;
Conduct conceptual design, budget planning, program development and technical specification for power development projects;
Provide support in tender evaluation and recommendation;
Review documents / drawings submitted by contractors and monitor project progress;
Liaise and coordinate with relevant internal parties, contractors and other external parties including government authorities and public stakeholders on project matters;
Carry out ad hoc duties assigned by the HK Electric’s engineers.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline;

Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience;

Solid knowledge in project engineering, coordination and contract administration;

Good communication and supervisory skills for dealing with working parties and contractors;

Good practical experience and technical knowledge of power plant equipment are an advantage;

Possession of valid certificates for Mandatory Basic Safety Training (Construction Work), Certified Workers of Confined Spaces Operation, etc., recognized by Hong Kong Labour Department;

Familiarity with relevant local and international regulations, procedures, standards and codes of practice;

Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office, AutoCAD, BIM, etc.;

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese languages.
