We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Insights Lab Specialist.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support Insights Lab Strategists on Investment Insights / Investment Cases content creation, management and delivery to clients and GPB colleagues
  • Support IWS on Analytics, relating to GPB book screening and GPB Sales Leads orchestration
  • The role holder will ensure the fair treatment of our customers is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organisation. They will adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes / procedures
  • They will also be expected to consistently display the behaviours that form part of the HSBC Values and culture and adhere to HSBC risk policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Be passionate on leading investment dialogue with a broad internal and external audience
  • Be familiar with wealth management client journey, advisory / point-of-sales process
  • Be exceptionally good writer of concise, actionable investment related content, effectively an “investment tweeter” to a target audience. (English written fluency is a must, Chinese is an advantage).
  • Be a team player, to develop strong partnership with IWS CIO, Product Desks, Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to drive business outcome. Win as a team
  • Be digitally literate, and amiably influential. Be positively engaging, filled with curiosity. Be able to tell a complex idea in simple words in an elevator pitch
  • Be expected to have experience in either investment strategist, client advisor, or product specialist roles with client exposures, in wealth management industry or in financial institution
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification. CFA would be an advantage
  • Experience dealing with outsourced support functions would be an advantage
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager would be an advantage
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior position
