  • Work with Business Development, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims and Medical to identify new product concepts, and develop them into concrete product design, for China and SEA reinsurance market.
  • Research and derive new product features pricing assumptions.
  • Pitch new product ideas to clients and create solutions to fit client’s proposition, budget and risk appetite.
  • Work with Underwriting, Claims, Medical and Risk Management to implement new product features to fit AXA risk appetite.
  • Support pricing team to derive / implement pricing assumption / methodology for new features / product structure proposed by clients.
  • Drive data analysis project to development new pricing basis, enhance existing pricing basis and identify new product ideas.
  • Work as a team to provide support to pricing junior colleagues when needed.

    • Your Profile

    • Qualified / fellowship of a globally recognized actuarial association.
    • 7-9 years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry, pricing or reinsurance or product development experience is a plus.
    • Good pricing sense and able to estimate pricing impact with quick method.
    • Knowledge of Medical and Critical Illness business, and distribution channels in China and SEA market is preferred.
    • Highly organized, delivery-orientated with the ability to work with multiple concurrent projects.
    • Innovative, highly motivated, results oriented and solutions focused.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure with good time management.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and deal with multiple stakeholders.
    • Able to self-manage work and drive new projects where no established processes currently exist.
    • Good command of business Chinese and English, both in written and spoken form. Fluency in Mandarin speaking is a plus.
