Pricing Actuary

Excellent opportunity to work with a leading global Life reinsurer in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be a key member of the regional pricing team and assist local offices in all pricing related responsibilities.

About the role

• Provide pricing and risk analysis support to local offices within the region
• Assess and review risk exposure; suggest and report on possible avenues for further analysis; discuss and present the information to local offices
• Develop and maintain pricing knowledge in products, assumptions, and benchmark setting
• Provide peer review of pricing bases; together with local pricing teams, ensure regular reviews and updates of pricing bases are at the local standard
• Support client development initiatives in the region

About you

• Qualified/ nearly qualified actuary from a globally recognized actuarial association
• 5+ years of Life (re)insurance experience
• Strong product knowledge in individual life products, as well as solid analytical and programming skills preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel within the region (moderate travel required)
