A Well-Established Foreign Corporate Bank is looking for a Manager (Checker role) to join their Credit Administration & Operations Team.
Your new role
- Implement the credit administration process while ensuring proper security controls andprehensive facility documentation for corporate andmercial banking, bilateral and syndication loans
- Facilitate credit documentation, facility implementation, and drawdowns by coordinating closely with business teams, Operations, Group Legal, and Group Credit Administration
- Collect, track, and manage Conditions Precedent, Conditions Subsequent, and all relevant facility documents; coordinate with business teams or Agent Banks as necessary
- Ensurepliance with operational procedures and internal controls
- Monitor credit facility usage, policy adherence, and scheduled procedure reviews
- Maintain systematic filing systems for both physical and electronic records
- Support operational risk management, including credit and client data and maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
- Build and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with relevant departments and units
- Ensure activities meet the standards set in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to enhance efficiency and turnaround time
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in business or related disciplinesAt least 8 years of work experience in credit administration or loan administration / operationsProficiency in PC skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word ProcessingFluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin); andImmediate availability is preferred.What you'll get in return
