Testing Team Leader

Our client is an authorized insurer to facilitate retirement financial planning through provision of annuity products in Hong Kong they are currently seeking for aTesting Team Leader to join their team.

Testing Team Leader

Responsibilities:

• Develop software test strategies
• Create software test plans incorporating core system and external interfaces/systems
• Manage a team of testing analysts on the execution of testing process
• Build-up software automation testing environment
• Execute related software tests and report problems via the defect tracking system
• Work closely with software development teams during the software development process
• Participate in related project meetings throughout the development and test process to help guide the delivery of a quality product
• Analyse research and track software defects through their resolution
• Monitor and report on testing progress and results and communicate testing status to project stakeholders
• Analyse test results and prepare test summary reports
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure that testing activities are efficient effective and scalable

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science / Business Administration or related disciplines
• 8 10 years of working experience in operations and user acceptance test planning in insurance industry preferably in core life administration system testing
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies tools and techniques
• Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and leading successful team of 5 to 6 Testing Specialist
• Self-motivated and able to work under tight schedule
• Strong logical and systematic mindset and able to drive new initiatives on process
• Good command of spoken English Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good presentation skill
