PURPOSE
- To support the management of the credit portfolio of the Group, covering both public and private transactions in international and local markets
- To work with external asset managers in the execution of transactions and monitoring of portfolios
- Advise local BU external investors on credit product features and metrics, explain and recommend credit asset classes return and risk expectations in various market situations, hence supporting BUs strategic and tactical allocation to certain assets
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
Support the analysis of external manager sourced debt transactions and recommend on suitability for portfolio inclusionSupport the research into different credit asset classes such as investment grade debt and structured creditsSupport SAA and TAA processes by providing analyses on risk and return profiles for different credit assetsSupport monitoring of Group’s credit mandates and its underlying assets with view of fundamental credit metrics and trends and vs. investment guidelines and credit markets developmentsAiding the broader investment team, as necessaryQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
3 + years of experience in finance and investment area, fixed income, credit markets and project management experience an advantageQuantitative or finance related degree from a recognized universityCFA or actuarial qualification an advantageKNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Capacity to understand new asset classesStrong communication skills (financial context); ability to build detailed financial models for a broad array of assetsGood presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on personal opinions and business ideasAbility to interpret and critique legal documents relating to complex investments, under supervision
