Localization Production Designer

Summary :

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Production Designer to join the team dedicated to bringing Apple’s products to the world. Our team is responsible for producing print and digital documentation for Apple hardware and software in up to 40 languages. As a Localization Production Designer, you will be working on wide range of localization projects across multiple Apple products, apps and platforms. You will be utilizing your technical expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite to craft world-class localized documentation. The working environment is very fast-paced requiring management of aggressive delivery schedules and extensive cross-functional collaboration with project managers, engineers, translators, QA and marketing teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and highly collaborative. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required. The fast-paced environment requires working autonomously and driving multiple projects concurrently.

Key Qualifications : Description :

• You will act as a project lead for a portfolio of projects and guide other production designers through the localization of various types of deliverables. - Proficiency in running iOS and Apps to get to certain UIs. - Construct layered graphics that scale to support localization into 40 languages. -Experience in doing multi-language layout with ability to adhere to Apple design guidelines. -Assist in training new team members, troubleshoot production issues and provide localization solutions that uphold Apple design & quality standards. -Identify and spearhead opportunities for process, design, and technical improvements. -In addition to employing your production skills you will also be executing UNIX commands in Terminal, running automation scripts, and testing technical tools that support our work.
