Trade Support - Multi Strat Hedge Fund

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing daily / periodic hedge fund operations. This will include trade booking, reconciliations, cash management, settlement, corporate actions, proxy voting, pricing, NAV, P&L production, audit, etc. and risk analytics and reporting tasks.

Reconciling trading positions with trading counterparties and prime brokers.

Liaise with external stakeholders such as brokers, OMS / PMS providers, fund admin, etc.

Coordinate with internal teams (i.e. traders, investor relations, risk, compliance) for various work on a daily basis.

Automate and streamline operational processes using relevant technologies and

software.

Ensure the operating procedures are adhered to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Responsible for system enhancement / establishment for existing products / flows.

Provide support to the company with regards to new products and new businesses.

Take up ad hoc projects as assigned.

The qualified candidate

With a university or above degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.

Experience in hedge fund operations / asset management operations with 2- 9 years experience. Candidates with less experience will be considered for Operations Associate

In-depth knowledge of investment fund structures, strategies, and regulatory requirements.

Experience with OMS / PMS (Eze Eclipse, Broadridge, Enfusion, etc).

Familiar with elements of trade life cycle and resolution of cash equity trade settlement issues.

Ability to work independently and manage his / her own tasks.
