Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company's overall logistics operations which includes forecasting demand, mapping out routing plans, and developing contingency plans to mitigate risks.
Supply Chain Management : Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and products. Collaborate with vendors and negotiate favorable terms to maximize value and minimize lead times.
Inventory Management : Develop and implement inventory control measures, including accurate forecasting, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring optimal storage conditions. Minimize stockouts and excess inventory through effective planning and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Warehouse Operations : Supervise warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and organizing medical devices and related equipment. Implement efficient picking, packing, and shipping processes, complying with all regulatory requirements.
Transportation Management : Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities, optimizing routes to minimize costs and lead times. Monitor carrier performance and ensure seamless coordination for time-sensitive deliveries.
Requirements :
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, warehouse management, and transportation management.
Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and systems is a plus, such as ERP, WMS
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
