The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

Key Accountabilities :

Assisting the Manager, Finance to prepare the group financial reporting and consolidation for WKCDA and its subsidiaries;

Preparing financial and management reports and analysis on a timely and accurate basis with illuminating and succinct commentaries;

Consolidating, reconciling and validating financial information from multiple sources to develop financial forecasts, business and corporate plans, control and analysis to ensure the business activities are conducted in accordance with budget parameters, cost guidelines, reporting principles and with good governance;

Streamlining work processes on reporting and institute control procedures to ensure effective, efficient and timely reporting;

Assisting the Manager, Finance to compile the fixed assets register and oversee the bookkeeping of fixed assets in the ERP and internal control of fixed asset management;

Supporting the Manager, Finance to lead projects of computerized system enhancement and development, integrate financial information needs across the business unit, implement automation initiatives and digitisation transformation, drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analysis as well as systems and processes; and

Performing other duties commensurate with the position of Assistant Manager, Finance and performing such services from time to time as WKCDA may reasonably direct.

The Ideal Candidate should possess :

A recognised university degree with professional qualifications in Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline;

A membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants or equivalent would be a plus;

At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance, auditing or accounting, preferably gained in a multinational / large organisation;

A good understanding and be familiar with the public sector in Hong Kong will be a plus;

Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, sound judgment and strong ethics with impeccable integrity;

Good knowledge in ERP systems, financial modelling, business controls and management reporting;

Project leadership experience in system implementation, process automation and digital transformation is a plus;

Good business acumen with strong analytical skills and critical thinking mindset;

Detail-oriented while having the ability to think creatively and out of the box;

A good team spirit and a good financial advisor;

Ability to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholders;

Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; and

Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
