KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job summary –
Senior Operations Finance Manager is role is involved in generation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and dashboards on properties’ performance on regional and global level. The position also plays an integral role in supporting the hotel finance operations activities and projects. The task includes but not limited to hotel pre-opening activities, onboarding and training new associates, assisting with establishing accounting processes, tasks and internal controls in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as Rosewood Policies and Procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)
Supports hotel pre-opening activities, task-forcing, establishing standard operating procedures, implementing systems.
Manages financial KPI score card generation and distribution process for properties globally.
Oversees implementation, operation and maintenance of organization's financial systems.
Coordinates development and deployment of enhancements to existing financial systems and new applications, identifies opportunities for process optimization.
Provides or coordinates necessary training to new Directors of Finance Business Partners on using various financial systems, develops training manuals and quick reference sheets for systems.
Prepares various presentations, consolidated reports and dashboards on property operations, analysis trends and business performance indicators on regional and global level.
Communicate with Hotel Director of Finance Business Partners in understand financial result and business outlook.
Assists with overseeing financial performance of properties, identifies business opportunities.
Creates, amends and maintains financial reports to ensure integrity of financial statements.
Assist with conducting Operations Management Review Audits to ensure compliance to Rosewood Policies and Procedures.
Assists in driving the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic projects.
Others
Assists other areas of the Finance department as needed.

Complies with corporate uniform and grooming standards.

Required Skills –
Strong technical, financial and analytical acumen.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel (Macros), Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred, but not required, knowledge in : SunSystems, Hyperion, Birchstreet, Materials Control, Blackline.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with high degree of accuracy.
Impeccable organizational and time management skills.
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and USALI guidelines.
Qualifications –
Bachelor’s degree with some Accounting / Finance exposure, preferably in a business-related field of study
Experience –
Minimum four years of accounting experience, hospitality background favourable in a multi-entity environment
Preferred knowledge in international currencies
