To cope with our development, we are looking for individual who share the same values as us to take up the position of  Senior Manager / Manager - Merchandising Operations. Support Senior Vice President – Merchandising, Category Head of Merchandising and Country Head of Merchandising to report and escalate end-to-end critical path key milestones and manage post-order shipment planning activities of the merchandising function. This role will be responsible for reporting critical path and escalate on delays of key milestones, managing shipment planning process and supplier logistics performance for all categories across different sourcing countries. This role should analyze root causes for shipment delays and drive improvement plan with cross-functional team and external stakeholders including suppliers and factories. The manager should operate in a global context with stakeholders across Asia and Europe.

Here is what you need to know about this role :

Responsible for managing critical path reporting, escalation and shipment planning process with suppliers, lead the supply planning team to negotiate with suppliers on shipment plan, shipment follow-up and manage supplier logistics performance with forwarder partner

Design and report critical path performance for all categories

Develop and execute shipment planning strategies to ensure optimal product availability to our customer

Manage logistics function to ensure smooth execution of shipment booking, logistics operations and resolve any supply chain issues with customer and forwarder

Overlook all production communication with suppliers, monitor cargo readiness, factory capacity and communication with customer’s logistics partner both locally and overseas

Communicate with senior management to present reports and performance metrics related to post order process and shipment status

Continuously evaluate and improve shipment planning and post-order management related processes, tools and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Roll-out new tools and way of working and deliver training to the team

You might be a good fit if you have …

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline

Minimum 8 years relevant experience in merchandising operations function, preferably experience of hardgoods and European retailer

Experience with managing a sizable team, project management and stakeholder management.

Strong analytical skill with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence

Able to work under fast-paced and dynamic environment with very tight deadlines

Ability to critically challenging ideas and assumptions in a constructive and collaborative manner

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken

Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager
