Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure (Middleware) | Banking, Immediate start

My client, one of the major local banks, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure team lead to take charge of the planning, design, implementation and support of the bank's mid-range server, middleware, storage and database.

The incumbent shall act as the focal point to support the implementation of business application systems. Ensuring IT infrastructure setups are stable and reliable to meet the predefined service level and copes with business expansion.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline.
• 8 years' in-depth experience in Unix server , storage, middleware and database implementation and support.
• Solid experience in server and system software products.
• Proficient understanding of cloud computing principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with complex on premise application migration to the cloud.
• Experience with micro services architecture and containerization.
• Experience in supporting Unix / Linux OS(RHEL), Storage(Huawei / NetApp), Middleware(Java,Weblogic), MySQL & Oracle Database.
• Experience with automation tools and processes, such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Solid working experience Solaris, AIX, Redhat Linux , RAC, HA Cluster etc.
• Hands on knowledge in system integration implementation.
• Familiar with DevOps, Middleware / Database implementation, performance monitoring and recovery technique.
• Familiar with Cloud, Storage and Virtualization technology e.g. KVM
• Certification in OCP and / or RHCE preferred
• PMP / ITIL certification is also an added advantage
• Certification in Ansible, Kubernetes, ELK and / or Cloud preferred
