Trust Manager - Financial Services Group

We are looking for an experienced Trust Manager to join a long-established financial services group in Hong Kong.

Our client covers a range of business lines, including their securities business and their trust business. Our client has been operating in the Hong Kong market for several decades, with a presence in Hong Kong, China and other overseas jurisdictions,

Description

This role will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for overseeing a junior staff member. This position will involve :

• Arranging for the establishment of the trust and on-going trust maintenance;
• Assisting clients with filling documents;
• Preparing and / or reviewing operation documents of trust services;
• Assisting securities and bank account opening process for trust account;
• Facilitating the process of transferring funds and assets of trust;
• Conducting AML for the trust services business and ensuring overall compliance in accordance with laws and regulations;
• Keeping abreast of relevant laws and regulations relating to the trust business;
• Ad hoc tasks as required to support the corporate services team.

Profile

The successful candidate must have around 5-10 years of trust administration experience, handling Hong Kong and offshore jurisdictions. A trust qualification will be ideal, although not essential. The candidate must be fluent in English and Chinese, have a proactive attitude and be willing to learn. The candidate must also be comfortable working in a small team environment, having hands-on exposure to various levels of work.
