Job description

My client is market leading consumer product company. Looking to enhance their procurement function, they are now in search of a Procurement Manager.

Reporting to the Regional Procurement Director, your responsibilities will include :

  • Serve as the procurement PIC for Hong Kong market and understand the needs of internal stake holders (sales & marketing, professional services etc)
  • Identify procurement best practices and develop continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Innovate sourcing approaches using analytics and processes to evaluate benefits, risks, and change management impact.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders for assigned sub-categories.
  • Manage sourcing activities, including bid and RFI / RFP requests.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with vendors on behalf of Procurement.

To qualify, one must possess

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of procurement management experience
  • Experience within the consumer sector would be an advantage
  • Indirect procurement experience covering marketing and other corporate services function would be an advantage
  • Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Good business acumen
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
