Assistant Manager, Warehouse
Our Assistant Manager, Warehouse employs a blend of ISO and project management to ensure the warehouse’s operations are in alignment with quality standards; and support the implementation of warehouse-related projects.
This individual will report to the Director, Logistics located in Hong Kong.
What You’ll Be Doing
ISO and Audit Management :
Support the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 certification management & TAPA management to ensure the warehouse operations comply with relevant ISO standards and audit processes.
Provide support during internal and external audits to maintain the ISO certification.
Strategic Planning and Project Management :
Develop and execute strategic plans such as headcount allocations, warehouse efficiency enhancement, and quality improvement.
Participate and support the implementation of warehouse-related improvement and enhancement projects.
Manage the warehouse’s budget and work with managers to ensure budgetary responsibility.
Performance Management and Reporting :
Develop key performance indicators (KPI) to monitor and analyze performance metrics such as warehouse productivity.
Provide regular reports on the warehouse's performance metrics, improvements, quality, etc.
Others :
Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries and concerns.
Other duties as assigned.
We Are Looking For
Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards, TAPA and quality management principles.
Has experience in deploying ISO standards and TAPA solutions to enhance warehouse operations by ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
Ability to identify and define relevant quality metrics (e.g., order accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery).
Ability to transform performance metrics data into clear, visually appealing, and actionable recommendations by using data analysis tools (spreadsheets) and data visualizations (chart, graphs)
Proficiency in tailoring report content to meet the needs and expectations of different audiences.
Effective presentation skills to deliver reports and present findings in a compelling and impactful manner.
Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functions, and external customers to collect, aggregate, and analyze warehouse performance data from various sources.
Familiarity with warehouse environments
Highly communicative in Cantonese and English and Mandarin
High level skills of MS office tools
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management with 3-5 years related job experience in ISO certification and compliance.
