The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) isresponsible for providing desirable services for university students andenhancing their learning experience. Theappointee will join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering wellness, promotinghealthy personal development, and creating an inclusive and accessible campusfor students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services to students with special educational needs, including academic adjustments, teaching facilities, activities, and hostel arrangements if necessary
  • Liaise with internal units and external parties regarding facilities accessibility, seating arrangements for lectures and tutorials, and special examination arrangements
  • Compile and manage student data and equipment inventory
  • Conduct and provide analysis from student surveys
  • Administer wellness programmes, generate reports, conduct research, and handle operational matters
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
  • Work outside normal office hours and on weekends if necessary

Requirements

  • A recognised bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in serving students with special educational needs
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Good organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A strong sense of responsibility with passion and self-motivation to meet working schedule and goals
  • Attention to meticulous details with a people-oriented mindset in relationship building would be an advantage
  • Candidates with less / more experience will beconsidered for appointment at a relevant rank.

    The rank and commencingsalary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringebenefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits,mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
