Here is what you need to know about this role :

  • Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
  • Assist in the Product Development process to ensure that products meet customers’ quality and budget requirements.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production.
  • Arrange sample submission to customers for approval.
  • Handle merchandising related documents.
  • Manage of development and orders, follow up production and the delivery time frames.
  • Price negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements and advance cost effectiveness.
  • Communicate and prepare meeting with suppliers / buyers for EU customer.
  • Understand the customer needs and requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

You might be a good fit if you have …

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years or above experience in merchandising industry for Toys products, candidate with less experience will also be considered as Merchandiser.
  • Familiar with EU toys market and product compliance requirement is a must.
  • Exposure to sourcing and production of multiple toys products and possesses different material knowledge.
  • Familiar with merchandising, product development process and entire end to end order follow up process.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent communication skills with overseas customers and vendors are essential.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Well organized individual, expertise in negotiation, detail minded, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook.
  • Occasional travel is required.
