Responsibilities :

  • Provide medical expertise and guidance on Life & Health underwriting
  • Provide medical insights and recommendations on claim cases
  • Review and advise on complex medical underwriting and claim cases
  • Support on establishing and maintaining underwriting guidelines and policies
  • Involve in the governance and review of claim practices and policies to ensure they adhere to the regulatory requirements etc.
  • Provide training to agency and back office on product knowledge, basis of underwriting and claims.
  • Function as the spokesperson for AXA Hong Kong on medical related matters
  • Provide inputs for the selection of panel doctors, and maintain clinical governance and network discipline
  • Provide medical inputs for the handling of complaint and dispute cases
  • Other ad hoc assignments on need basis

Qualifications :

  • Capacity to inspire and motivate staff to embrace “fair to customer” mindset and to work towards a shared direction and to continuously uplift service performance on this basis.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders. Able to navigate complex organizational dynamics and foster a culture of collaboration.
