About the Role
This position will lead the transformation of AIA Investment platform from current state to target state, including working with various internal and external solution providers and implementation teams to address the current and future need of our Investment activities; handle key stakeholder relationship to successful modernization of our solutions, operating model, enterprise data solution and cultural change. Roles and Responsibilities :
Lead the implementation for AIA Investment transformation program and ensures it successful delivery
Translate the needs of business stakeholders across front, middle and back office, set the focus and priorities of the different support teams (e.g. ITO, DMO, GIPS operation, etc), and review their delivery against scope, quality and time to ensure we deliver the right solution and outcome on the front office platform to our business
Ensure objectives for the Group, AMCs (particularly our Group AMC in Singapore) and other Investment departments in our business units are aligned
Ensure the quality of the solution design is aligned with the objectives established above
Ensure successful change management and adoption of the solution and improvements by business team members, and address all aspects of their concern beyond technical solution
Handle the ongoing relationship of essential team members and track improvements and issue resolution from vendors
Minimum Job Requirements :
Education – Minimum undergraduate
Experience – Minimal 10 years of experience of which at least 5 years of managerial experience with technology or transformation focus in Financial Services (Asset Management industry preferred)
Solution and Problem solving orientated – with skills to break down problems into root causes and addressing underlying issues which may not be system, but due to other reasons
Able to understand sophisticated workflow across systems, data and processes, identify potential gaps, and aim to conclusion
Flexible and creative in solving problems. Customer service approach, with good at listening, understand and help with difficult and challenging clients
Experience in Aladdin strongly desired
Strong language skills required – good written and oral English is a must and Mandarin is an asset
High level influencing and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively across an organization
Open minded, listens and takes into consideration different views of team members to make decisions that meet customers’ needs with best effort to build the best solutions for all involved
