Assistant Computer Officer
The appointee will have the opportunity to drive the advancement of AI technology and develop cutting-edge solutions in the medical field.
Duties include (a) exploring and implementing advanced techniques to enhance and optimise large language models utilising frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow;
b) conducting clinical trials and analysing data; (c) manipulating medical images; and (d) engaging in other research and technical activities as assigned.
- Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Computer Science, Mechanical Design, Automation Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines;
- ii) strong proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; (iii) the ability to document project plans and reports effectively;
- iv) experience in implementing large language models, preferably utilising PyTorch or TensorFlow; (v) a solid understanding of deep learning concepts, architectures, and training techniques;
and (vi) proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with scientific computing libraries (e.g. NumPy and Pandas) for data manipulation and analysis.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
