The HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School (FYTGS) is the university-wide office to oversee the entire administrative scope for postgraduate (PG) education. It partners with academic units and other stakeholders to ensure consistent policy and quality control over all PG programs. This includes coordinating student recruitment and admissions, as well as providing a oversight on PG students’ qualifications, graduation, and other areas related to PG affairs.
The appointee will assist the Head of PG Secretariat in performing a range of administrative duties in regard to the oversight and support of postgraduate education. Major duties include :
Applicants should have a recognized bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, which preferably includes experience in local tertiary education institution(s). The appointee should also possess good communication skills (in written and verbal English, Cantonese and Putonghua), strong IT and number skills with meticulous sense and sound judgement. The candidate should also be a good team player, well-organized, with a strong sense of responsibility, and able to work independently in a dynamic working environment.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and a written test. (Duration : 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
