The Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Office of HKUST is seeking an Assistant Manager or Officer specializing in Marketing and Event for a 4-month duration. The appointee will support the Manager in implementing marketing campaigns and offering comprehensive event assistance for the University's largest admissions event, the Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2025 as well as other admissions events and initiatives. This position will necessitate work beyond standard office hours.
The appointee is expected to perform the following duties :
The applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in digital marketing, event management, project management, or related fields. Having experience in the higher education industry would be an added advantage.
The successful candidate is expected to be a strong team player with an excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. The candidate should be proactive and passionate about event planning, highly organized and detail-oriented, quick to learn, and possess the ability to work under deadline pressure while multitasking. The candidate should also feel comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders, including external and internal parties, student ambassadors, and prospective students from around the world.
