Time Type : Full Time

Playing a key role in the operational management function, the position will work actively with country OKAMs, operations and global control tower to manage our customer’s 3PL operations performance and process. The position will provide buyer’s consolidation operational management support, advice and expertise to origins and destination markets, both internal and external, across the globe. In addition, the position will help conduct audits, control CFS location and activities by providing guidance with regard to process flows, KPI deliverables, KPI performance and innovation development.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and improve current buyer’s consolidation operations processes and ensure service continuity and improvement for our company and customer.
  • Responsible for 3PL operations and establish 3PL operations processes for our global key customer to ensure operational excellence.
  • Drive for 3PL process & system development improvement initiatives.
  • Be accountable for the ownership of 3PL KPI performance including root cause analysis and corrective action plan.
  • Verify productivity, provide guidance and support to the global control tower.
  • Establish, maintain, and own both internal and external CFS KPI.
  • Recommend process improvements continuously and adopt lean logistics practices.
  • Audit location CFS for incoming and outgoing shipments and related documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Meet with customer at origin markets, destination markets, regional and global offices along with management to review warehouse services.
  • Identify potential gaps in existing procedures, systems, and tools or related materials; Propose strategies to close any perceived gaps.
  • Coordinate compliance activities to ensure standards are maintained and QHSE objectives are achieved within 3PL operations, including suppliers and sub-contractors applicable to client’s service deliverable.

Job Requirements :

  • Degree qualification with at least 10 years’ ocean freight operational working experience in a global forwarding or logistics company.
  • With a minimum of 7 years’ experience in 3PL buyer’s consolidation operations, operations, contract logistics.
  • Good knowledge of ocean freight and 3PL operation in both white and blue collar is essential.
  • Solid operations know-how, strong process and project management skills.
  • Experience in serving global customer in retail sector is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate cross functionally within a matrix organization.
  • Customer-oriented, with high integrity and professional working standards.
  • Highly proficient in English and Chinese.
