Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Designer with expertise in AUTOCAD to join our design team. As a Technical Designer, you will play a critical role in translating conceptual designs into technical drawings and specifications. Your proficiency in AUTOCAD software and strong technical knowledge will be essential in producing accurate and precise drawings that meet industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Technical Drawing and Design : Create detailed and accurate technical drawings using AUTOCAD software based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by architects, engineers, or project managers. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project requirements.
- Drafting and Documentation : Prepare clear and comprehensive drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. Develop and maintain a library of standard details and symbols to streamline the drawing process. Organize and manage drawing files and documentation to ensure accessibility and version control.
- Design Coordination : Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project objectives and design intent. Resolve design-related issues by providing technical expertise and proposing practical solutions. Participate in design discussions, reviews, and coordination meetings to ensure design integration and compatibility.
- Collaboration and Communication : Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, clarify requirements, and exchange feedback. Collaborate with project teams to address design modifications, revisions, and client requests, ensuring timely and accurate updates to drawings.
