职位描述A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a similar role. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and Power BI. Demonstrated experience in executing ETL / ELT, data streaming for data analytics, tools like PySpark, Kafka. Deep understanding of modelling, data cleansing, transformation and warehousing, and data lake management is an added advantage. Proficiency with IBM DB2, IBM Informix, Oracle PL / SQL will be considered a plus. Excellent proficiency in Cantonese and English, along with robust communication skills to collaborate with a global team.

As an integral part of Data Solutions team, the Assistant Manager for Data Solutions will be pivotal in establishing a robust data platform that enables scalable growth. This role will involve extracting insights from extensive data, assisting the business in conducting advanced analytics, and implementing machine learning.
Job Accountabilities :
- Develop and oversee data pipelines in a cutting-edge, cloud-oriented environment.
- Understand and interpret the data schema of current data sources.
- Design a streamlined data schema for the Data Platform to ensure swift and effective data query and retrieval for analytical purposes.
- Automate processes and establish CI / CD delivery pipelines.
- Streamline the collection and processing of data on the data pipeline.
- Provide daily operational support for the Data Platform.
- Transition the current Data Warehouse platform to a more efficient cloud-based Data Platform.
