Senior R&D Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

Product development, from conceptual design to project release, includes research and analysis, project engineering / technical support, construction design, materials sourcing, and patent searches.

Report to the team manager and be responsible for collaborating with designers, engineers, different departments, and vendors to support new product development.

As a team leader and team player, manage multiple projects independently in a result-oriented manner to meet task deadlines and project goals.

Lead junior and mid-level engineers, teach and guide teammates, and encourage team spirit and teamwork.

Regularly update knowledge on global products, technologies, components, and manufacturing techniques, and be able to apply them to new product designs.

Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

Degree or Master in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines

5 years of experiences in product development with mechanical & electrical plastic products experience.  If 10 years or more engineering experience that is relevant, R&D Engineering manager is considered to offer.

Creative, energetic, independent with leadership capabilities and able to work under pressure

Good knowledge in prototype processing, plastic injection and assembly processing

Good knowledge of electrical safety standard

Good computer knowledge of CAD & MS Office

Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Travel Requirements :

Travel to China as required.
