The Department
Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.
The Job
- Providing customer services by giving the advice about wine selections and promote products to customers in professional skill.
- Handle daily customer requests and orders, plus actively looking for new sales channels.
- Assist in coordinating the marketing events and promotional activities (wine tasting, wine dinner and promotional campaign).
- Provide on-floor support during events and promotional activities.
- Maintain smooth shop operation and tidiness with high quality presentation.
- Prepare daily reports and handle ad-hoc assignments.
- Creating experiences via unique products or services such that Members and guests recognise that our offerings are worth recommending to their peers.
About You
You should have :
A Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalentAt least two years’ experience in similar position in wine or luxury gourmet industryAccredited international wine master certificationMinimum of Advance WSET Level 2and or Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master SommelierUnderstanding of International wines and sales trendsKnowledge of HACCP systems is an advantageFluency in both written and spoken EnglishTerms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
