Job Description

We are seeking a Head of Human Resources for a leading international school in Hong Kong.  The headcount at the school is 350 teaching and back-office professionals plus some part time / auxiliary staff.  The main duties and responsibilities are as follows :

  • Ability to act as a business partner and guide and advise other department heads, as well as the board
  • Manage current employment cycle - on boarding / off boarding, monthly payroll, dealing with the immigration department for via applications etc
  • Experience in HR system transformation and change management, managed in a sensitive manner, mainly in relation to appraisals, training and payroll
  • Experience in managing employee benefits, including medical, health and insurance
  • Experience in digital transformation of HR procedures including use case analysis and project implementation
  • Culturally sensitive with ability to work with a wide range of people from different backgrounds
  • Manage team of 4-5 HR professionals
  • Report to Head of Business (B&O Operation) & to a Board Governor
  • At least 10-15 years experience in full range of HR functionalities in Hong Kong.
