[LPS] Platform Specialist

Description and Requirements

The Job :

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical services covering solution design, project implementation, systems support and day-to-day operations on System Platforms (UNIX / Linux / Windows) for government projects and mission-critical systems.

The Person :

• Bachelor degree in IT
• Around 5 years of solid experience on the AIX, and / or Linux administration and including experience on at least 1 of the following products
• IBM AIX
• IBM WebSphere
• IBM DB2
• IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler
• IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
• IBM NetCool Management
• PowerHA SystemMirror
• Experience on implementation, configuration, troubleshooting and system tuning.
• Holder of UNIX, LINUX, SAN and / or IBM products’ certification would be an advantage.
• A team player with analytical and problem-solving mind, self-motivation, good interpersonal skills
• Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese.
