Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Search guests' background, photo and interests, prior to arrival to ensure guest’s recognition.
- Review all the upcoming arrivals and in-house Special Attention Guests to compile the next day report.
- Be responsible for advising relevant management for upcoming Special Attention Guests, so that special requirements and action may need to be addressed and taken accordingly.
- Arrange welcome / turndown amenities based on the Amenity program and preferences for any Special Attention, Special Occasion Guests or suite guests
- Ensure all inputs of checked-in rooms in the computer are correct, such as guest’s profile, period of stay, form of payment, and rate applied.
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of packages & promotions, room types & availability, scheduled group events and residence policies, etc.
Requirements
Proven background within a luxury hospitality environment, ideally within a similar guest facing role or in food and beverage, for a minimum of 2 yearsGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programsPassionate about a level of service that is personalized and anticipatory with a keen eye for detailAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesFluent spoken Cantonese, Mandarin & English is essential. Another language is an advantageStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesAble to multitask, handle pressure and coordinate between different departments
