What You'll Do
- Provide expert AML / CFT and sanctionspliance advice to business lines and support units
- Ensure implementation andpliance with policies and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions
- Conduct second line controls and review sanctions escalations
- Track developments in regulatory and policy requirements and coordinate internal guidance
- Advise on sensitive client segments including PEPs, energy, non-profits, and high-risk jurisdictions
- Collaborate onpliance systems upgrades and enhancements (screening, monitoring tools, etc.)
- Assist with audits, inspections, internal reviews, and risk assessments
- Deliver training and promote awareness of financial security standards and obligations
Who You Are
Minimum 7 years' experience in AML / CFT and sanctionspliance within a corporate or investment banking environmentSolid understanding of Hong Kong's regulatory landscape and international sanctions regimes (APAC focus preferred)Demonstrated experience working withplex financial instruments or cross-border transactionsStrong writing and analytical capabilities with an investigative mindsetAble to challenge assumptions, operate independently, and balance risk with business practicalityCertified in relevantpliance disciplines (, ACAMS, ICA); legal background is a plusExperienced in using transaction monitoring and sanctions screening systemsVersatile team player with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approachJob ID 83035
