Position Responsibilities :

1. Lead the Pre-Assessment Team within the Claims & Health Department :

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Pre-Assessment Team, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives of the Claims & Health Department.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to promote teamwork, innovation, and excellence in service delivery.

2. Make pre-assessment as a strategic function for preventing fraud, waste and abuse and for achieving cost-saving :

  • Develop and implement strategies that position pre-assessment function as a critical tool for identifying and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse.
  • Leverage data analytics and industry best practices to achieve significant cost savings and enhance the integrity of claims processing.
  • 3. Set strategic direction and goals for pre-assessment team, ensure all pre-assessment functions are done in accurate, efficient and customer centric manners :

  • Establish clear strategic objectives and performance goals for the team, ensuring all pre-assessment activities are conducted accurately, efficiently, and with a strong customer-centric focus. achieve departmental targets.
  • Regularly evaluate performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and achieve departmental targets.
  • 4. Collaborate with Various Business Units to Ensure Departmental Success :

  • Serve as a senior people manager to identify the training needs of the team, coach the team, provide guidance and support for staff's professional development.
  • Design and implement training programs that cultivate talent, enhance skills, and prepare staff for future leadership roles.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development to maximize team potential.
  • Employee Engagement Score : Evaluate team engagement through surveys and aim for specific engagement targets.
  • Required Qualifications :

    1. Education and Experience :

  • University graduate with at least 15 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Possession of a nursing or allied health qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in the healthcare or insurance sector.
  • 2. Leadership and Management :

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic plans that align with organizational goals.
  • 3. Technical and Analytical Skills :

  • Expertise in system, workflow, and process improvement projects.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics and using data-driven insights to enhance operations
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • 4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
