Prof Yi-Kuen LEE’s research group has been working on CMOS MEMS and microfluidics research for more than 20 years using HKUST NFF clean room and semiconductor foundry processes, including TSMC / UMC / Global Foundries foundry process. The Post-doctoral Fellows will be involved in developing new semiconductor biosensor technology with a team.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in biomedical engineering, genetic engineering or microfluidics with at least 1 year of experience in NGS library preparation, sequencing, and analysis. Candidates’ PhD degree must be earned from a local university or a non-local institution among the Top 100 for STEM-related subjects, with reference to RTH-ITF requirements for applicable ranking tables at . Applicants should have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team with different academic background (including biomedical engineering, microelectronics, mechanical engineering and semiconductor engineering). Preference will be given to those who are highly-motivated in molecular biology, cancer research, genetics or biomedical engineering with experience in NGS, MEMS or microfluidics. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
