Your Newpany
Our client is a leading scientific research organisation in Hong Kong who is seeking a System Analyst (Data Integration) to join their team and play a vital role in ensuring seamless integration of their data lakehouse platform with internal systems and external partners. Seize this opportunity to drive innovation and impact the future of genomics and healthcare integration!
Your New Role
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs and data transfer mechanisms (, RESTful APIs, AWS S3 Upload) to enable secure and efficient data exchange.
- Implement strategies for data replication, failover, and disaster recovery, using clustering technologies (, Kubernetes) and load balancing for high availability.
- Establish robust data security policies, including encryption (data at rest and in transit), access controls, and audit logging, to safeguard sensitive genomic and clinical data.
- Optimize system performance by identifying bottlenecks and enhancing data throughput and response times.
- Develop and monitor data validation processes, lineage tracking, and quality control to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians, software engineers, and stakeholders to design integration solutions for genomics and clinical data (, FASTQ, BAM, VCF, FHIR, HL7).
