Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties :

  • To lead a team of executives in implementing corporate sustainability policies, strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Company's overall business objectives and achieving sustainability goals
  • To support the Sustainability Management Committee in developing policies and strategies, setting targets for monitoring sustainability performance, and managing ESG risks and opportunities
  • To coordinate the production of the Sustainability Report in compliance with relevant regulations and disclosure requirements
  • To oversee the collection of sustainability data and manage greenhouse gas emissions quantification, reporting and verification
  • To conceive and implement innovative sustainability initiatives and benchmark corporate sustainability performance against industry standards and best practices
  • To engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote and enhance corporate sustainability efforts

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Environmental Management or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 15 years' relevant experience in environmental management / sustainability
  • Experience in compelling sustainability reports for companies listed on HKEX, managing ESG / CSR initiatives, and assessing ESG risks and opportunities
  • Extensive knowledge of sustainability / ESG planning and reporting, with a strong understanding of ESG disclosure standards
  • Well versed in greenhouse gas emissions accounting in compliance with ISO standards and the GHG Protocol
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

    • Working Location :   Admiralty

    Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Senior Manager / Manager (Sustainability).
