Applications are invited for : Information Technology Services Centre

The appointee will be responsible for (a) setting up and managing high performance computing (HPC) platforms; (b) preparing management reports for the usage of the platforms; (c) providing support to the researchers using HPS platforms; and (d) preparing proposals and evaluating HPC products.   Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Sciences, or relevant disciplines; (ii) knowledge of Linux-based and Windows systems; (iii) experience in C, Python, open source software and networking; (iv) good analytical, problem-solving, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; and (v) the ability to work independently, as a team member, and on multiple projects. Having work experience in systems administration, and familiarity with software products related to HPS will be advantagerous. Fresh graduates will also be considered.   Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
