Suicide Prevention Services is a registered charity providing sustainable, volunteer-based suicide prevention services in the community. It includes a 24-hour Suicide Prevention Hotline, Suicide Prevention Service for the Elderly, Services for Family with Elderly, Services for Survivors of Sudden Death and Suicide Loss, Community Education & Life Education for Youths.

Descriptions Main Duties :

  • Provide risk assessment, case support and monitoring for elderly with suicidal intent or depressive symptoms;
  • Train and supervise volunteers who provide home visits to elderly;
  • Responsible in organising mass activities and community education programs;
  • Responsible for the development and promotion of mobile app projects for the elderly

Requirements :

  • With recognised Bachelor or above in Social Work;
  • At least two years working experience with elderly will be necessary & experience in working with volunteers is preferable;
  • An energetic and mature team player with strong interpersonal skills & outgoing personality;
  • Independent and multi-tasking skills, good PC knowledge.

    • The final placement of the above positions will be based on the applicants' relevant working experience and academic qualifications.
