Chinese securities firm - Trading Assistant (up to 30K)

The Company

A leading Chinese securities firm is expanding and hiring new talent. The new roles will work closely with the front office, focusing on a range of financial products including D1, EQD, and Prime services. This expansion reflects the firm's strategic growth in the securities market, aligning with broader industry trends where Chinese firms are increasingly shifting towards wealth management and international expansion. The front office roles will involve direct client interaction and revenue generation through deal fees and investment returns.

The Role

• Product Monitoring : Check automated bookings for Delta One, Flow and Exotic Derivatives Products.
• Vanilla Instrument Booking : Trade booking of vanilla instruments, including vanilla equity options, stocks, futures, TRS, IRS, FX (swap / spot / NDF) across A shares, Hong Kong, ASEAN, US and European underlying.
• Structured Product Booking : Trade booking of Structured Products, including Autocallables, Sharkfin, Boosters, BEN, FCN, ELN, etc.
• Life Cycle Management : Process life cycle events, including expiries, early termination, redemption by cash / physical delivery, coupon pay-outs, corporate action adjustments, etc.
• Trade Documentation : Process trade confirmations and term sheets.
• Client Reporting : Setup and send valuation reports to clients.
• Internal Reporting : Prepare periodic / ad-hoc trade summaries for internal reporting purposes.
• Operational Support : Handle other daily tasks such as PnL reconciliations, liaising with Product Control, Operations, and Finance.
