Junior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities :

Support for design and creating 3D models, mechanical drawings, and prototypes using solid modeling software tools

Assist in mechanical and electronics assembly of prototypes & engineering samples

Provide technical support for experimental set-ups & trials

Conduct testing to evaluate the performance / analyze the failure of potential design solutions and engineering samples

Document all testing, design verification & changes, and other relevant information in project reports and other documentation

Participate in design and project review meetings to support engineering matters

Support the trial runs in our Supplier factories

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines

2-3 years of experience in new product development in the area of Small Domestic Appliances.  Candidates with more experience may be considered as Mechanical engineer

Proven experience in mechanical design, testing, failure analysis and simulation

Proficiency in using design software and other engineering tools, including Pro-E and Solidworks

Excellent communications and teamwork skills

Attention to details, ability to document and organize project information

Good knowledge in manufacturing processes, materials, industry standards and regulations

Experience in waterproof design & fan blade design are plus.

Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Willing to travel to China

5 days work per week, nice working environment in a dynamic field.
