The successful candidate will become a key member of the Cathay’s dynamic Global Business Development Team, utilising a range of market intelligence and data analytics tools to generate actionable insights for robust decision-making. You will be an integral player in supporting various digital transformational projects to strengthen the analytical capabilities of the airline worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop integrated BI solutions including reports, scorecards, dashboards and visualisation tools to identify key trends and actionable opportunities for various markets, sales channels and agency segments
- Collaborate with Cathay Global Sales Teams in Hong Kong and around the network to collect analytical requirements and formulate dashboard development plans to support their operations and analytical needs
- Perform analysis and generate actionable insight to facilitate commercial business decision making
- Participate in digital transformational projects to enrich analytics capability.
Requirements
University degree (preferably in Operations Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or other related disciplines) with minimum 2 years of working experienceStrong analytic mindset with high interest and sensitivity to numbersGood understanding of analytics & query toolsProficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Qlikview, Qliksense, PowerBI, Tableau) and / or scripting languages (e.g. SQL) is / are highly preferredStrong communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsWorking experience in one or more of the airline data tools and analytics tools is an advantageWorking experience in commercial aviation and / or revenue management is an advantageApplication Deadline : 22 May 2025
