Senior Facilities Officer (2 year contract)

Engineering Department, Cathay Subsidiary Services consists of several independent departments that provides professional services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute maintenance and overhaul plans for ground services equipment, vehicles, production, automation, and building facilities to minimize downtime and mitigate business disruptions caused by critical system failures.

Liaise, collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders to manage facility-related issues at the venue.

Manage purchase orders for consumable parts required for maintenance activities.

Managing and supervising the outsourced Facility / Property Management service provider(s) to ensure quality services are delivered in compliance with company requirements.

Provide on-site technical support and administration for repairs and maintenance tasks.

Assist in logistics and inventory management of spare parts / materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

Assisting in preparing documentation of relevant procurement activities e.g. quotation document, purchase order, and proceed goods receive through internal system, etc.

Maintain updated repairs & maintenance records, produce and generate reports as directed by supervisors.

Provide internal support for the central team workforce, including coordinating Scheme A training, team rotations, and duty assignments.

Coordinate with internal and external parties during emergency breakdown maintenance for equipment & facility. Follow up with contractors to ensure their timely attendance of all faults, diagnosis, estimated downtime, and corrective action follow-up.

Implement safety initiatives directed by superior.

Verify that engineering systems and equipment comply with Hong Kong's regulatory requirements and maintain detailed documentation records to reflect this compliance.

Any ad hoc duties or projects.

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree or above, preferably major in Facilities Management / Electrical & Mechanical / Building Services / Building Studies or relevant disciplines.

A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Holder of Driving Licence (#1, 2 &10) would be an advantage.

Good Interpersonal skills, result oriented and team player.

Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Immediate available is highly preferred.
