Responsibilities :
- Responsible for maintaining a tax calendar to ensure external compliance with all tax deadlines in various Asian tax jurisdictions
- Responsible for coordination, preparation and timely filing of Hong Kong corporate tax return
- Reviewing PRC corporate income tax return, Transfer Pricing forms and PRC contemporaneous documentation
- Work closely with finance teams in Hong Kong and PRC in preparing quarterly and annual US income tax provision calculation for Asia entities
- Responsible for ensuring the proper treatment of intercompany transactions for tax purposes.
- Analyzing and addressing potential tax issues associated with routine operational matters, including transfer pricing planning and compliance
- Assess tax and reporting impact of proposed relevant Hong Kong and PRC tax legislation and tax accounting pronouncements. Provide analysis for discussion with Senior Management
- Assist in Ad hoc projects as assigned by the management
- Keep abreast of the international tax development and cases in Asia
Knowledge / Skill Requirements :
Minimum 6 years of combined tax related work experience in a public accounting firm and / or a large corporate environmentRecognized degree in accounting or equivalent qualificationExperience in a US multinational business environmentExperience in dealing with PRC corporate tax matters is essentialExcellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to explain complex tax issues to non-financial and / or line business peopleStrong business and financial analytical skillsExcellent command of both English and Mandarin is required
