Our client, a prestigious international law firm, is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join their dynamic capital markets team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing listing application documents for U.S. and Hong Kong IPOs , and assisting in the preparation of responses to inquiries from securities regulators . Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review listing application documents for U.S. and Hong Kong IPOs, and assist in responding to inquiries from securities regulators.
- Support legal due diligence processes.
- Conduct legal research and provide analytical insights.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external clients.
- Draft and review documents related to corporate reorganization, transaction closings, and other regulatory submissions; prepare due diligence and verification notes.
- Manage general compliance tasks, including drafting announcements, circulars, and meeting minutes; reviewing annual, interim, and quarterly reports; and preparing other relevant regulatory filings.
Requirements :
Prior experience supporting fee-earners in capital markets transactions.LLM or LLB from a reputable law school in China, Hong Kong, or the U.S., with strong academic credentials preferred.Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
