Cloud Engineer (12-Month Contract)

Our client, a well-known publicly listed organization in Hong Kong with a substantial IT team, is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this position, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure solutions. Working closely with development and operations teams will be essential to ensure the smooth deployment and performance of cloud systems. This role is initially offered as a 12-month contract.

Key Contributions :

• Architect and deploy secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using platforms AWS.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices andpliance requirements.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions with CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Diagnose and resolve cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Work with software developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to support application deployment and cloud-native development.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.
