Randstad is working with an expanding mobile social platform, and they are developing a brand new project. My client is now looking for a Backend Developer Lead, shortlisted candidate will be responsible for leading the developers in the team and participate in architecture design and development and oversee the software development life cycle.

  • Lead the team to design, develop and enhance the platforms and support the upcoming new changes and business needs
  • Collaborate with other teammates to build components which fulfill the business requirements
  • Contribute to the overall architecture design and development
  • Participate in team performance management and ensure the delivery will be on-time and able to meet the agreed standards
  • Develop RESTful API to support the functions on the mobile app, and work closely with the mobile application team for integration

skills & experiences required.

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on design and development experience on Node.js / Express.js
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, RESTful API, any of cloud platform is preferred,
  • Knowledge of any DevOps or automation tools such as Jenkins / Github would be advantageous
  • Previous SaaS development experience is a plus
  • Candidates with social media / entertainment experience is an advantage
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environment
  • Good analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, Chinese speaking is a plus
