Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Core Life System (eBao), including mentoring junior team members
  • Act as a liaison between business units and vendors throughout project lifecycles
  • Participate in IT transformation programs and enforce ITernance and change management
  • Engage with business departments to understand needs and propose IT solutions
  • Oversee quality assurance including UAT planning, testing, and documentation
  • Handle system development, technical documentation, and performance optimization
  • Manage resource planning, effort estimation, and risk escalation
  • Monitor service metrics and KPIs to ensure system reliability and performance

Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Life insurance industry experience is mandatory
  • Experience with the eBao system is a huge plus
  • Higher diploma or above in an IT-related discipline

    • Technical Skills

  • Operating Systems : Unix, Linux, Windows
  • Programming : Java, .NET (VB / C#), Shell script, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Struts, SOAP, REST, MuleSoft, JSON, jQuery
  • Databases : Oracle PL / SQL, SQL Server, MySQL
  • Reporting Tools : Jasper / iReport, Crystal Report, Fine Report, Qlik Sense
  • Printing Tools : SIP, Quadient / GMC
  • Other Tools (advantageous) : UiPath, Salesforce, Tomcat, Apache
