M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s WestK, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. The museum reflects our unique time and place, building on Hong Kong’s historic balance of the local and the international to define a distinctive and innovative voice for Asia’s twenty-first century.
You will be responsible for :
- supporting in general research, exhibition and programming logistics, production and acquisition of works;
- performing administrative tasks relating to curatorial processes and meetings;
- maintaining and updating data and image records, including those for exhibitions, displays and the permanent collections;
- managing contacts and correspondence both internally and externally; and
- assisting in routine operations and other special projects of M+.
You should :
possess a recognised university degree or equivalent in Fine Art, Art History, Visual Studies, or other related disciplines;have at least 2 to 3 years relevant working experience in other cultural or related organisations;have experience and knowledge in modern or contemporary Asian Art, a strong interest in Ink art is a plus;be able to work independently and cooperatively with others in a fast-paced environment;be highly-organised, detail-oriented and work well under pressure; andhave excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.
